BOZEMAN – Another strong Canadian cold front to pass through the state tonight into Wednesday producing areas of snow, gusty winds, and holding temperatures below average.
Snow should be widespread for all areas of SW Montana with mountain passes picking up 3”-10” and most valleys 2”-5” of snow. Most of the valley snow will be melting off by the weekend as temperatures jump back up into the 50s.

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY beginning at 9 pm Tuesday through 3 pm Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING for the Crazy mountains, Beartooth and Absaroka ranges through midnight Wednesday.
Snow accumulations over a foot is likely along with strong wind gusts in the backcountry.
