Montana Highway Patrol released their first public opinion survey this week.
With this survey, MHP hopes to better understand and tackle the concerns of Native Americans and local tourist. The highway patrol was able to get respondents through contact cards, press releases, local communities, and social media. Some of the results are pretty promising:
- 92 percent said they were treated with respect.
- 82 percent trust the Montana highway patrol
- 86 percent Montana highway patrol is effective in enforcing the law.
- 78 percent rate Montana highways as very safe.
