BOZEMAN - Winter Storm Watches are out for all of SW Montana above 6000'. The Winter Storm Watch is between Friday and Sunday Evening.
Spotty showers are expected tomorrow with another shot of cold air moving in on Saturday. We'll see another shot of precipitation Saturday Evening and Sunday morning. With colder air in place we'll see mostly snow in the mountains with rain transitioning over to snow as temperatures fall closer to freezing. By Sunday afternoon, most of the precipitation will be falling as snow even in the valleys.
Snow is expected to linger through Tuesday morning across SW Montana with highs in the 30s and 40s. Light snow accumulations are likely for the valleys while moderate accumulations are likely for the mountains.
