BOZEMAN – Severe winter continues to impact SW Montana at 1 pm Wednesday.

A Low-pressure system is sitting on the MT/ID state line producing heavy snow, strong winds and dangerous travel conditions. Montana Department of Transportation has CLOSED I-15 over Monida pass on both sides and from Lima to Clark Canyon is CLOSED.

Pockets of snow will continue to impact our region through midnight. Wind prone areas will also continue to see gusty surface winds and localized blowing and drifting. Another area of concern is east of Livingston through the Big Timber area. Snow, wind, and extreme ice on I-90. At times the road is closed with jackknifed semi-trucks.

Temperatures are only in the 20s today and that is between 30 to 50 degrees cold compared to Tuesday afternoon. Overnight skies will clear and by early Thursday morning temperatures will fall close to zero.

We are updating conditions frequently on the STORMTracker Weather mobile apps for KBZK and KXLF and on our Facebook pages.
