BOZEMAN – A warming trend begins this weekend with well above normal temperatures still on track next week.
This weekend a weak Pacific disturbance will pass through the state Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. This will bring increasing clouds Saturday afternoon with a few isolated showers through Sunday morning. Surface winds will likely increase as well especially in wind prone areas. Mountains will have a better chance for rain or snow Saturday evening, but lower valleys should only see a few isolated rain showers.
Another disturbance could produce a few isolated showers by Monday across SW Montana but forecast models show this will be a quick shot of showers.
Temperatures will begin to jump up into the upper 60s to mid 70s by Wednesday of next week but plan on a cooler and wet weather pattern by the first weekend in May.
