BOZEMAN – A couple of rounds of snow will impact SW Montana through the weekend. The first disturbance will produce mountain snow showers Friday afternoon and evening. There could be pockets of lower valley rain or freezing rain through midnight.
The second system is larger and should produce increasing mountain snow by Sunday morning and could linger through Monday morning. Mountains and passes have a higher probability for accumulating snow versus lower valleys.
Wintry travel impacts are likely Friday night through Monday morning for most mountain passes across SW Montana.
A colder weather pattern is still on track to impact Montana beginning late next week.
