BOZEMAN – Unseasonably cold temperatures continued Friday with numerous record lows Friday morning.

High-pressure will keep our weather pattern on the quiet side this weekend but it will also continue to produce clear cold nights and sunny days.

Temperatures will slowly moderate beginning this weekend but remain well below seasonal averages. Saturday morning lows will be back down around record low levels for Dillon and West Yellowstone.

Watch for icy areas over mountain passes during the overnight and early morning hours as melting and re-freezing is occurring over mountain passes that have snow build up on shoulder areas.

Next week the pattern will change slightly as we begin to see a SW flow aloft which should continue a slow warming trend. By Wednesday of next week temperatures could finally reach normal levels but unfortunately cooler temperatures are likely by the end of next week.

MONTANA STATE HOMECOMING

The weather pattern for the homecoming parade, game, and tailgating Saturday is favorable. Mostly dry, chilly with light winds. Perfect weather for a college football game Saturday afternoon in Bozeman.
