BOZEMAN – Short term forecast is wintry for SW Montana. The combination of moisture lifting into the region from Idaho and colder Canadian dropping in from the North will produce scattered snow showers.

Snow accumulations should be on the light side with lower valleys less than an inch but higher elevated valleys could see a couple of inches of snow and mountain passes have the best chance for accumulations.

Wednesday morning commutes could be icy especially over mountain passes in SW Montana.

Spring officially begins Thursday evening so your first full day of Spring will be Friday. By the weekend temperatures should be near normal and mostly dry.
