BOZEMAN – A NW flow aloft and a deep trough of Low-pressure is sitting over the northern Rockies and this will keep temperatures trending cooler through next week.

There are several Pacific storms upstream and each will bring scattered snow showers to Montana over the next 5 to 7 days.

Several areas of concern with snow and travel will be along the MT/ID state line around Lookout Pass, and down around eastern Idaho, Yellowstone National Park up to Bozeman.

These areas will have a better chance for accumulating snow. In fact, some of our higher resolution forecast models are projecting high snow totals for Bozeman Friday night into Saturday morning. If you plan on traveling this weekend plan on snow and icy roads especially for mountain passes.
