BOZEMAN - Another Pacific storm is pushing through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and will try and lift a little bit of snow across SW Montana Tuesday. Travel concerns continue to be along the MT/ID state line for the next 24 to 48 hours.

There are Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings up across eastern Idaho through Tuesday evening. Snow and blowing snow did force road closures of Monida Pass Monday morning but has re-opened Monday afternoon, however, Island Park, ID to Ashton, ID remains closed Monday evening. This also has Raynolds and Targhee passes closed.

The next storm system will bring widespread snow across southern and eastern Idaho with an additional 5" to 16" of snow from Monida pass to Island Park, ID tonight into Tuesday. Strong crosswind gusts on I-15 also forced closures from Roberts, ID to Idaho Falls, ID with traffic detouring over to US 20 in Rigby, ID Monday evening.

The strong WSW flow will continue to push arctic air, that is parked over northern and eastern Montana, away from SW Montana. Temperatures locally are running cooler than average but at least we should remain above zero for the rest of the week.

The above video will walk you through the forecast for the rest of this week into the upcoming weekend.
