BOZEMAN – The last couple of days of the winter season will be somewhat active for SW Montana and continued colder than normal.

A slow-moving Low-pressure system near San Francisco will move inland tonight and slowly drift eastward. The storm will remain well south of Montana, but it should produce a SW flow aloft that will help moisture lift into SW Montana Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

Snow showers with minor accumulations are possible for Butte and Bozeman Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. Enough snow to produce slow go travel over area mountain passes for Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

The above on-demand STORMTracker video forecast will walk you through the timing of the possible snow showers Tuesday into Wednesday.
