BOZEMAN – The flow aloft has switched out of the SW today and is helping temperatures warm up into the 40’s across SW Montana.

The next weather maker will be a strong Pacific storm that will hit the Pacific NW Tuesday and weaken as it moves to the east. A weakening cold front will pass through Montana from West to East Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning producing locally windy conditions and a few snow showers. Snow accumulations will be around 1”-3” for most mountain ranges and under an inch for most valleys.

Another Pacific storm will roll up into British Columbia Thursday night into Friday and this storm will stay mostly north of our location but could produce a few snow showers and gusty winds by the end of the week.

This westerly flow this week into next week will keep temperature trends running near to slightly above normal.
