BOZEMAN – A weak disturbance produced scattered showers and thunderstorms early Friday morning over SW Montana northern counties.

Total rainfall, in general, was around 0.05” to 0.15” of an inch. The early morning showers also produced a cool start to the day.

Heading into the weekend High-pressure will keep our pattern mostly dry and hot. Forecast highs around the state will jump up into the 80s and a few low to mid 90s.

The next weather maker will be another Pacific cold front to arrive Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. Forecast models show this cold front should be mostly dry for SW Montana with only a slight chance for showers or thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon and evening.

Behind this front temperatures will cool below seasonal averages with 70s early next week.
