BOZEMAN – Strong westerly flow produced mostly mountain snow showers today and gusty lower valley surface winds. That trend will continue into Friday.

Areas of greatest concern for snow will be along the MT/ID state line and into Yellowstone National Park.

Wisdom to Lost Trail pass could see several inches of snow and gusty winds Thursday night into Friday. Big Sky to West Yellowstone could also see several inches of new snow and gusty winds through Friday evening.

Everyone else will see a few isolated valley snow showers Friday but most mountain passes could see minor snow accumulations.

By the weekend the pattern will be mostly dry but turning colder.
