BOZEMAN – A typical late March weather pattern with 50s one day and snow the next. This unsettled weather pattern will continue tonight into Wednesday.

A cold front produced areas of snow Monday night and behind that front is a cooler pattern. Another Low is digging down into Northern California and that system will feed moisture up into Montana tonight and Wednesday.

Snow showers are possible at all levels Tuesday evening, but snow is not expected to be widespread. Mountains and passes will see moderate snow accumulations while most valleys should be on the lighter side.

One area of greatest concern is between Bozeman and Billings southward into Yellowstone National Park. Be prepared for wintry travel with slushy roads by Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory between Bozeman and Billings beginning at 6 pm Tuesday through 3 pm Wednesday.

Snow accumulations of 2”-5” is possible on I-90 from Bozeman pass to Billings.
