BOZEMAN – A powerful Pacific storm is passing through Montana Wednesday and quickly heading east tonight. The good news is the incredible wind gusts will slowly subside overnight and hopefully will be gone Thursday.

High Wind Warnings continue through 9 pm for most of SW Montana and there is still a good chance that occasional peak gusts could hit 60 mph.

Considerable areas of blowing snow and nearly zero visibility have impacted Big Hole Pass near Dillon and Monida Pass on I-15 Wednesday afternoon. Travle in these areas are not recommended for the rest of today.
