BOZEMAN – Unseasonably cold temperatures continue to grip the entire state Tuesday. In fact, morning lows between Great Falls and Cut Bank dropped down into the single digits setting new records Tuesday morning.

Upper-level trough is sitting over Montana keeping the cool and unsettled weather pattern alive today. This trough is expected to drift out of the region by Wednesday as a weak High-pressure ridge builds in from the West and that should help temperatures warm slightly through Thursday.

A pacific cold front will move back into the region Thursday evening into Friday morning producing rain, snow and a few isolated thunderstorms Friday.

Temperatures are expected to jump back up to near normal levels by early next week.
