BOZEMAN - Above normal temperatures again Thursday for SW Montana with upper 80s and a few low 90s. That type of heat will be ending as soon as Friday.

A good push of monsoonal moisture is lifting northward Thursday and will hit SW Montana by early Friday morning and produce off and on showers and late day thunderstorms Friday. The increasing clouds, showers and thunderstorms will keep temperatures down Friday and closer to seasonal averages. Stronger thunderstorms are likely along the Montana-Idaho state line and possibly down into Yellowstone National Park Friday afternoon.

Saturday will be a quiet weather day but the next weather maker will arrive Sunday with bigger impacts next week. Temperatures will be trending cooler than normal starting Monday and continue throughout the work week.
