BOZEMAN – A short-lived warming trend is here and should last through Wednesday. High-pressure is building over the western U.S. forcing most storms to lift into Canada.
Flow aloft is out of the SW and that will help temperatures moderate for a few days. Forecast highs will be around 5° to 10° above normal Tuesday.
The ridge pattern will break down beginning Wednesday and a cold front will pass through the state producing a few valley rain or snow showers and higher mountain snow. This will also begin a cooling trend that will last into through the weekend.
Tuesday is the day to hit the carwash.
