BOZEMAN – Temperatures are climbing Wednesday afternoon and will jump slightly above seasonal averages before sunset tonight and again Thursday. 70s and 80s should be widespread across Montana for several days.
As temperatures increase with a SW flow aloft so to does the chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Most storms should be on the weak side, however, most storms could produce brief heavy rain, small hail, frequent and deadly lightning, and strong outflow winds. If storms threaten your area please seek shelter until storms have passed. Thursday will be a better day for more widespread late day thunderstorms for SW Montana.
