Today’s Forecast:
After a cold start and some early flurries, skies over southwest Montana will clear for the afternoon. Look for highs to stay in the middle 20s with overnight lows falling quickly to the single digits and slightly below zero.
BOZEMAN: High – 26; Low – 8. A few flakes are possible early in the day. Skies will slowly clear allowing temperatures to climb to the middle 20s. Lows drop to the single digits tonight with mainly clear conditions.
BUTTE: High – 25; Low – -2. Cool clouds for the morning will clear as we head into the afternoon. Look for highs in the middle 20s under mostly clear conditions late in the day. Lows will fall quickly to sub-zero by Tuesday morning.
DILLON: High – 27; Low – 4. A few light snow showers are expected early in the day. Look for more sun by the afternoon and evening.
WEST YELLOWSTONE: High – 21; Low – -4. Temperatures will struggle for your Monday under mostly to partly cloudy skies. Look for a cold evening tonight with clearing skies.
SNOWPACK AND THE WEEK’S OUTLOOK:
Early winter snowpack has been impressive so far. Much of southwest Montana is either near average or moving slightly above average. While snowpack has been good, we are trending drier this week. Temperatures are expected to stay below average this week before turning warmer early next week.
