Hot night for hot rods at Butte car show

Posted

BUTTE – People in Butte enjoyed an evening of hot rods, hot music and hot food at one of the Mining City’s longest running car shows Wednesday.

Thousands turned out for Cruise Night 2019 at Mile High Motors in Butte to check out dozens of classic automobiles – some newer models and some much older. The event featured food and a bounce house for the kids, as well as live music. People showing off their cars said they enjoy coming to this event each year.

“It’s a great time, really having a great time. Having burgers, having some beers, the music’s great, just enjoying the whole atmosphere,” said ’56 Chevy owner Mike Bartholomew.

The show has been sponsored by Cherry Creek Media for about 20 years.
