DILLON — Two deputies and a Dillon Police Officer were involved in an incident Wednesday evening in Dillon. where an armed man was shot and wounded.
Dillon Police Chief Don Guiberson reports the 32-year-old man is hospitalized at this time and being treated for a gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred at a Kentucky Ave. home, at about 6:35 pm, when the man came to the door with a gun in his waistband. Law enforcement ordered the man to put his hands up and the man allegedly reached for his gun and officers shot the man.
