BOZEMAN — The Bozeman Police Department added two new officers Friday afternoon.
New officers Brett Logan and Kyle Hodges were sworn in at City Hall on Friday. There were 120 applicants for the two positions for a search that started in March.
Bozeman Police Chief Steve Crawford says that it was long and comprehensive process to find these two officers that were good fits for the job.
"They eptimize qualities that we’re looking for in new officers and have the raw material we’re looking for. Qualities like integrity, honesty, and a dedication to serving something bigger than themselves," Crawford said.
The police department is currently looking for officers to fill other openings.
