BUTTE - A metal fabricating business based in Billings has now taken over a business in Butte.
WMLK Steel Fabrication has acquired JK Fabrication located on Parkmont Street in Butte. Duane Anderson purchased the Butte business from John Kelly and plans to expand.
“Already since the acquisition they've created three additional jobs. They're looking to expand almost double to what they were doing before, they've doubled their output, and a lot of the work they do goes to support the mines,” said Joe Willauer of the BLDC.
By next year, WMK hopes to have between 10 to 15 employees.
