BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Gallatin Valley Mall has seen an inflow of holiday shoppers who are either exchanging their gifts or using gift cards.
Mall representatives said they have seen almost as many people walk through the doors in this last week compared to the days before Christmas. A lot of the people are exchanging gifts due to the wrong size or would like to use their gift cards.
Colin Welbes, store manager of Tradehome Shoes, said each year the week after Christmas is busier than usual and shoppers should exchange their gifts as soon as possible in order to get the items they want.
“Honestly it is getting here as soon as possible,” said Welbes. “Because of course during this time of the year, sizes are very limited. So the sooner you come in to do it the sooner we can find you the right size.”
