BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Downtown Business Association (DBA) is hosting the 38th Annual Christmas Stroll Saturday on Main Street with a number of activities.

The Santa Run, organized by the Bozeman Schools Foundation, will be the kickoff for the event starting at 10:15 a.m. There will be events and business discounts throughout the day and the Christmas Stroll will officially start at the Emerson Center for Cultural Arts at 4:30 p.m.

Other activities include the lighting of decorations, a parade, pictures with Santa Claus, wagon rides and a gingerbread house contest.

DBA Director Ellie Staley said the Stroll buttons are for purchase at many local stores and breweries around town and the proceeds go towards keeping the Stroll running each year.

“In order to ride the horse run wagon rides or the Santa pictures, you do need a button but they are really cute. The design this year is a cookie and we will be selling those at the specific locations, but you can get them in advance and they really are also a great Stroll tradition,” said Staley.

Staley said there will be more than 80 different food trucks and vendors at the stroll.
