BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Emerson Center will need help from the community in order to light its outdoor tree on the corner of Babcock and Grand this year.
Three years ago, the Emerson Center purchased lights to decorate the tree outside of their building.
The lights were supposed to last for five years but only ended up lasting for three because of the wear from Montana weather.
The Emerson is raising money for the lights to ensure that the tree is lit on the night of the Christmas Stroll on Saturday, December 1.
They still need to raise $3,500.
Donations can be made in person at the Emerson, via phone at (406) 587-9797 x100, or online by clicking here.
