BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Bozeman Police Department has identified Sergeant Ben Green as the officer involved in a fatal shooting early Friday morning.
Bozeman Police Chief Steve Crawford said in a statement “Sergeant Green is a veteran officer with over 12 and a half years of service with the Bozeman Police Department.”
Sergeant Green is on paid administrative leave during an internal review of the incident, which Chief Crawford says is departmental policy.
The Montana Division of Criminal Investigation is continuing its investigation into the incident.
