The Missoula City-County Health Department announced on Friday afternoon that another Missoula County resident passed away from complications due to COVID-19.
This is the third COVID-19-related death in the county.
MCCHD said it wishes to protect the family’s privacy and did not release details about the individual other than they were middle-aged or older, though an age was not provided.
The health department continues to urge people limit their social circles, practice good hand-washing hygiene, maintain six feet of distance between others, wear a cloth face covering in public, and stay home when they have any symptoms of illness, even if they’re mild.
