Montana added 1 additional case of COVID-19 on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

The state is reporting that Yellowstone County added 1 new case, bringing their total to 87 cases.

There are 17 active cases in the state.

The state is reporting one case attributed to a Jefferson County resident.

Jefferson Co. health officials have reported that the case involved a man in his 50s who has not been in the state for several weeks. They added that the case was not acquired in Montana and the man has not been in contact with anyone in Montana.

The state count does not include 3 COVID-19 cases confirmed last week in Custer County; each of those cases is an out-of-state resident and therefore not included in the state's total. All three individuals currently remain in Montana under quarantine.
