CARDWELL - A vehicle accident was reported by Jefferson County Sheriffs office and the Montana Highway Patrol on I-90 eastbound just past the Cardwell Hill near the Milligan Canyon exit on mile marker 264 shortly after 2 pm Wednesday afternoon.
No report of injuries but it appears a vehicle caught fire and is a total loss. This also caught the grass on fire and is burning in grass and sage near the Milligan Canyon exit.
