Nashville, TN (WTVF) — A large, low-flying plane sparked concern for many downtown workers in Nashville. Turns out, it was part of a training exercise for Saturday’s inauguration.
Videos of the plane began popping up on social media Friday afternoon, prompting many to ask “what’s going on?”
Governor-elect Bill Lee’s camp confirmed the flight was part of a pre-scheduled flyover for tomorrow’s inauguration – but that flyover has since been canceled.
The plane is a a C-17 with the 164th Airlift Wing in Memphis.
