PD: Dad’s drunk driving crash sends some to hospital

    Siloam Springs, AR (KHBS) —
A Siloam Springs father is in jail and his son is in the hospital after a drunk driving crash into a fountain Thursday night, according to police.

At about 10 p.m. Thursday, police arrived on scene at the fountain near Main Street and U.S. Highway 412 (near Carpet One) where they found a vehicle overturned and submerged in the water, according to Steff Jones, Communications Specialist for the Siloam Springs Police Department.

The driver was outside the vehicle and told police his son was inside.

Crews got to boy out, and he was sent to the hospital in Tulsa. Police were not able to release his current condition Friday morning.

The father, Michael Guest, was booked into the Benton County Detention Center. His charges were listed as Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Driving While Intoxicated.
