MISSOULA (Mark R Thorsell) — teve Bannon’s speaking engagement on the University of Montana campus set for next week has been canceled.
Bannon was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the Athenian Parrhesia Free-Speech Forum on December 11th.
Bannon was previously scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the 15th International Conference on Advances in Computer Entertainment Technology (ACE 2018) but was canceled.
The website parrhesia online stated on Tuesday, “Due to the unavailability of Mr. Stephen Bannon this event is postponed until further notice.”
University of Montana spokesperson Paula Short says the reservation for UM facilities was canceled after they received an email from organizers overnight.
Bannon was President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist and founding member of Breitbart News, a far-right news, opinion and commentary website.
