Omaha, NE (WOWT) — That’s how Tara and Ryan Bowne describe the last few months after losing their baby boy, Ryker.
“Everybody’s lives were brighter just from meeting him. He was the light of our whole world,” said Ryan.
Ryker was the Bownes “miracle baby”.
“He made every person he met feel like the most special person in the world,” said Tara.
Suddenly, he was taken from it.
One morning Ryan went to check on Ryker.
“The morning I went in there, he didn’t move at all,” said Ryan.
Ryker was taken to the hospital. He later died. To this day the Bownes have no idea why or how Ryker passed away. The void Ryker left behind, only grows.
For Ryker’s nine-year-old brother, Parker he lost his best friend.
“Ryker’s soul is always with me,” said Parker.
“There was stuff that I wanted to do with him when he was older like go to Disney World,” said Parker.
Ryker, their miracle baby, blessed them with another one. Tara is pregnant and expecting another child.
Park can’t wait to tell Ryker’s story to his new sibling, “I’m going to tell whatever the baby is going to be…about Ryker’s story.”
