Atlanta, GA (WGCL) — A man is recovering after being shot by an employee of a booting company following a parking infraction in northwest Atlanta.
The shooting happened early Thursday morning in a parking lot in the area of Irby Avenue and Cains Hill Place.
The man had discovered the boot on his vehicle and called the company. The employee came and an argument ensued.
At some point, police say the man who was booted threw money at the employee.
That employee then shot the man in the leg. A friend of the man took him to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The employee left the scene but has since contacted police and is cooperating in the investigation.
