Today's Forecast:
Several Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are out for the area starting Wednesday evening through Friday morning. A Winter Storm Warning is out for Gallatin County from 5 PM Wednesday through 8 AM Friday: 6”-12” of valley snow, 12”-32” mountain snow with gusts near 35 mph. A Winter Weather Advisory for Madison and Beaverhead Counties: 6”-12” of valley snow, 12”-24” mountain snow and wing gusts near 40 mph. A Winter Weather Advisory is out for the Butte/Blackfoot region from 5 AM Thursday through 11 AM Friday with 3”-6” of valley snow and 6”-9” of mountain snow. Most of the snow we see for your Wednesday will be light but could still cause travel issues through the evening before the heavier snow begins during the evening and overnight hours.

BOZEMAN: High: 32; Low: 25. Scattered light snow showers with highs in the low 30s by the afternoon. Accumulation is expected to be between ½” and 1” by the evening.

BUTTE: High: 34; Low: 26. Light snow with about ½” accumulation expected. A few areas could see slightly higher amounts.

DILLON: High: 31; Low: 26. Spotty light snow during the day with heavier snow for the evening. Amounts should stay less than 1” during the day with 1”-3” possible overnight.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 18; Low: 9. Light snow is expected through the day with less than 1”-2” expected initially during the day with 3”-7” overnight.
