Today's Forecast:
We can refer to it as the calm before the storm as our daytime highs on Tuesday will top out in the 60s before a powerful cold front swings into the area this afternoon and brings much colder temperatures to the region by the evening. Winds will stay out of the south between 10-20 mph through most of the afternoon. Our cold front will bring scattered rain showers for the afternoon and early evening before changing quickly over to snow around sunset. Bands of heavy snow are expected through the overnight and early part of your Wednesday. Snow totals in the valleys could be between 3”-5” by early morning with bands of light to moderate snow for Wednesday afternoon. Expect slick conditions on the way to work tomorrow morning with a slow commute on Homestake and Bozeman passes on Wednesday morning
