Winter Weather Advisories are out for much of western and southwestern Montana over the course of the next couple of days. There are several impacts to be aware of. First will be the potential for snow and ice on are roadways by Thanksgiving morning. While amounts overall are only expected to be between 1”-3” in the valleys, 6”-12” will be likely in several mountain ranges in SW Montana. We will also be dealing with frigid temperatures and bitter wind chills.
BOZEMAN: High: 27; Low: 14. Light snow showers are possible, although our wind will be gusting between 10-20 mph throughout the day.
BUTTE: High: 26; Low: 11. Pockets of light to moderate snow for your Wednesday. Look for winds to gust between 20-30 mph.
DILLON: High: 29; Low: 15. Look for periods of light to moderate snow with bitter cold wind chills falling to the single digits.
WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 26; Low: 12. Bands of snow are expected with cold temperatures and strong wind.
