BOZEMAN – Cool and comfy today for SW Montana. Temperatures in the 70s Wednesday afternoon might be a little cooler than normal but perfect for outdoor work and play.

An upper-level Low is spinning over Southern Alberta, Canada today and this is producing a few showers and gusty winds along the hi-line but southern Montana is dry and cool today.

The next weather maker is a weak disturbance to clip northern Montana Thursday night into Friday morning. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible north of I-90 in the early morning hours Friday but this system should pass through the state quickly.

Ahead of the next cold front temperatures will jump up into the upper 80s and 90s Saturday into Sunday. By Sunday afternoon a Pacific cold front will move into the state with increasing wind and possibly a few showers or isolated thunderstorms Sunday night.

Behind this system, temperatures will once again cool down into the 70s early next week.
