Temperatures climb quickly into the 30s for Friday afternoon

Today's Forecast:
Frigid temperatures in southwest Montana will give way to highs in the middle 30s for your Friday afternoon with the help of a light south wind and plenty of sunshine. Overnight lows will fall back to the teens and single digits this evening with clear skies in place once again.

BOZEMAN: High: 37; Low: 20. Temperatures will quickly warm back to the middle and upper 30s with clear skies and bright sunshine.

BUTTE: High: 38; Low: 7. Morning temperatures below zero will quickly warm into the 20s and 30s by noon before we see highs top out in the upper 30s.

DILLON: High: 37; Low: 15. Sunny and crisp to start the day before our highs climb to the upper 30s.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 30; Low: 0. We could see a nearly 60° swing in temperatures today with clear skies and light wind. Temperatures will struggle early on before pushing the 30° mark this afternoon.

COLDER AIR EXPECTED BY MONDAY:
We are currently tracking our next weather-maker expected to impact southwest Montana by Sunday afternoon and Monday. This system will usher in moisture and cold air, though the current snow forecast calls for less than an inch for most valleys in southwest Montana. Temperatures may fall to the upper 20s by Monday afternoon after a weekend near 40° in the region.
