Sunday Morning Forecast: Another cold snap moving in

Your Sunday will be a chilly one once again, though no new snow will be expected until we hit Monday. Highs on Sunday will stay in the middle 20s under partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will fall quickly to the single digits.

BOZEMAN: High: 24; Low: 9. Cold and sunny with highs struggling after a cold start to the day.

BUTTE: High: 26; Low: 9. Chilly temperatures to start the day. Look for partly cloudy skies and a west to northwest wind between 10-20 mph.

DILLON: High: 26; Low: 11. Cool sunshine will stay in place with a west wind between 5-15 mph.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 20; Low: -4. Temperatures will struggle for the afternoon with overnight temperatures falling quickly below zero.

Temperatures will stay cool early next week as another cold front sweeps through the area bringing gusty winds and arctic air. Current weather models show that most areas are looking to pick up 1”-3” with some areas picking up as much as 4”-6” or more above 5000’. Daytime highs will stay in the low teens with overnight lows falling below zero starting Tuesday morning. That cold air is expected to stay in place through Thursday before warming up on Friday.
