NEW YEAR’S DAY OUTLOOK:
Several systems are churning in the Pacific right now, and a weak cold front is expected to move through the west early next week. While we aren’t likely to see that cold front make a huge impact for the region, the moisture associated with that low will drive the potential for snow back into western Montana by Tuesday night and Wednesday. Current weather model runs are keeping most of the accumulation between 0.5” and 2.0” for most of the area through New Year’s Day. There are several chances for snow on Thursday and Friday in western Montana that will add to those totals.
