Today's Forecast:
Gusty winds but warm temperatures once again for your Thursday. With dry conditions and winds out of the west to southwest between 20-40 mph in the region, there are some areas that have increased fire danger. Please take precautions when you are out. Highs across the region will be in the middle 60s with lows falling to the 30s to near 40°

BOZEMAN: High: 67; Low: 40. Warm and windy under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be out of the southwest between 10-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.

BUTTE: High: 63; Low: 32. Gusty winds in excess of 30 mph are expected today out of the southwest. This will help push daytime highs back to the middle 60s under partly cloudy skies.

DILLON: High: 65; Low: 34. West to southwest winds will be in place today between 15-30 mph under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 55; Low: 25. Mild temperatures but breezy for your Thursday as temperatures climb to the middle 50s.

The models are coming together with more reasonable projections for snow in southwest Montana this weekend. The latest data shows that our highs on Saturday will top out in the low 50s as a cold front sweeps into the area. Scattered rain showers are likely through the afternoon and early evening before switching to snow during the evening. There is a good chance that we could see icy conditions by midnight with 2”-4” of snow by 6 AM Sunday. Bands of snow are expected through the morning and afternoon which could push totals between 3”-6” inches for a few valleys and 6”-12” possible in the mountains.
