BOZEMAN – An upper-level disturbance is increasing clouds and snow over SW Montana Thursday afternoon through Friday morning.
The core of this storm will stay well south of Montana but should produce areas of snow over most of SW Montana and could impact travel tonight and Friday.
The National Weather Service has a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY up for SW Montana east of the divide now through 8 am Friday morning.
NWS is expecting around 1”-3” of valley snow with 2”-4” at pass level. Just enough snow to produce wintry travel impacts.
Snow should be on the light side for lower valleys through the Thursday evening commute but your Friday commute to work will likely be a slow-go as this storm exits the region.
