Round two of winter weather starts tonight

Today's Forecast:
Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings will be in effect starting Friday evening through Saturday evening with heavy snow and cold temperatures move in tonight into Saturday with extreme cold expected through Monday. Your Friday will include cold sunshine to start the day leaving highs in the 30s. Clouds will move in for the afternoon with evening snow showers developing near sunset. Total snow accumulation for southwest Montana is expected to be 5”-10” for the valleys with 8-15” of mountain snow through Saturday evening.

BOZEMAN: High: 35; Low: 14. Clouds will move in quickly this afternoon as a strong arctic cold front drops into the region. Expect snow showers to develop tonight with 2”-4” of snow to develop overnight with 5”-10” of snow expected for the afternoon and evening.

BUTTE: High: 37; Low: 10. After a sunny start you can expect clouds to move in for the afternoon with bands of moderate snow for the evening and overnight hours. Models indicate 3”-8” of new snow by Saturday afternoon.

DILLON: High: 39; Low: 18. Milder temperatures for most of the afternoon before a strong cold front brings in light snow for the evening. Overnight snow expected to be less than 1” overnight with 1”-3” of additional snow through Saturday.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 35; Low: 21. Clouds will build into the area through the afternoon with evening snow developing. Expect 1”-3” of snow overnight with an addition 3”-6” possible through Saturday night.
