Monday Night’s Forecast:Cool and cloudy with a few light showers before 10 PM. Heavier rain showers are expected near midnight with lows in the middle 40s. Scattered cool showers will continue for your Tuesday with highs in the middle 50s. Predicted rain totals range from 0.40” to over 1.00” of total accumulation by Thursday morning.

BOZEMAN: Low: 48; High: 56. Cool rain showers and gusty winds between 10-20 mph by Tuesday. Rain showers will continue off and on through Wednesday evening.

BUTTE: Low: 44; High: 57. Chilly rain expected overnight and throughout the day on Tuesday. Winds will shift to the northwest Tuesday with cool rain transitioning to snow by Wednesday morning.

DILLON: Low: 46; High: 56. Cool rain showers and gusty winds expected tonight into Tuesday. Winds will shift to the northwest between 10-20 mph.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: Low: 39; High: 51. Cool showers are expected tonight with the heaviest rain after midnight. Light snow may mix in through your Tuesday morning and will transition back to rain throughout the day on Tuesday.

SNOW FOR HIGH ELEVATIONS EXPECTED: A Winter Storm Watch has been issued in southwest Montana Tuesday night through noon on Wednesday above 5000 feet. An upper level low pressure system will allow snow levels to fall quickly on Tuesday night allowing anywhere between 3”-8” of wet snow to fall in the mountains in Southwest Montana. Main concerns are broken branches, power outages, and hazardous backcountry conditions.
