Cold rain mixing with snow for Monday

Today's Forecast: Impressive snow totals this morning west of the divide. Among the more impressive is Walkerville reporting 12”. Power outages have been reported near Walkerville, Deer Lodge, and Anaconda this morning as tree limbs are snapping from the weight of the snow and taking out powerlines. Gusty northwest winds between 15-25 mph are expected through the afternoon and evening. The transition from snow to rain will happen quickly through the morning with rounds of rain expected through the evening. Highs today will be primarily in the upper 40s or low 50s with the potential for lows tonight to fall below freezing as our skies clear.

BOZEMAN: High: 47; Low: 34. Chilly, wet, and rainy for the area with rain or a rain/snow mix possible through the late morning. Scattered rain showers are expected for the afternoon and evening with a northwest wind between 10-20 mph with gusts near 25 or 30 mph.

BUTTE: High: 49; Low: 28. Snow will transition to rain through the late morning. Scattered showers through the mid-afternoon hours before tapering off and clouds moving out allowing another frigid evening with lows near or below freezing.

DILLON: High: 52; Low: 32. Chilly rain showers for the day with gusty winds for the afternoon and evening.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 43; Low: 28. Expect a mix of light rain/snow through the morning. Temperatures will struggle this afternoon with highs in the low 40s
