Cold air lingers with more snow Tuesday and Wednesday

Today's Forecast:
Chilly sunshine is on tap with a few passing flurries for the afternoon. Highs will stay in the upper 20s and low 30s with wind chill values in the teens and 20s through the afternoon. Winds will stay out of the northwest between 10-20 mph.

BOZEMAN: High: 31; Low: 16. Mainly sunny with a few clouds for the afternoon. Light snow flurries are possible tonight and early on Tuesday with little accumulation expected.

BUTTE: High: 30; Low: 13. Cold and breezy with winds out of the northwest between 10-20 mph. A few flurries are possible this afternoon with light accumulation expected by Tuesday morning.

DILLON: High: 35; Low: 18. Chilly with a northwest wind between 10-20 mph leaving wind chill values in the 20s this afternoon.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 29; Low: 3. Cold temperatures for the morning with milder sunshine this afternoon. Lows will once again fall quickly tonight.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER:
Scattered snow and a slight surge of cooler air expected Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. An upper level low pressure system should provide some lift that will likely produce some quick-moving snow showers on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. The latest models show that the best potential to see heavier snowfall will come on Wednesday with most of the data showing 1”-4” for valleys in the region.
